A chance to give the working person their opportunity to go out, enjoy themselves and not feel as if its going to punish their finances instead of sitting at home with the headphones in streaming compressed music via a platform which is using that persons subscription to fund destructive and detrimental causes, whilst drinking cheap plonk and texting their mate who is doing the same thing 3 streets away.*
Give the businesses involved, in the night time economy and events industry, a chance to survive and prosper and serve those people, greet those people, and encourage those people to be part of an actual community and system which lets people physically see and talk to each other, and share the same experiences in a safe space and go home and post online about it - and then text their mate 3 streets away to arrange the next night out.
Not a lot to ask is it.
*and to think, there is now a generation of people who think this is very much the norm. This is life as they know and accept it. Its a slippery slope - thanks Mark for helping pour salt on it, lets hope the next PM sends out the 'kin gritters.
